There are two vacancies for voluntary part-time receptionists/catering assistants.
Successful applicants will be good communicators, self-reliant, energetic and resourceful.
They will be expected to meet and greet visitors and customers, to make refreshments
and occasionally to move tables and chairs to suit the needs of our customers. They
might also be required to assist with any small office tasks which might arise. Applicants
should contact Jane (the centre manager) for further details. The office is open
most mornings.
There is one paid vacancy for a part-time Deputy Manager / Book Keeper. Successful
applicants will have experience of performing a similar role elsewhere, either paid
or as a volunteer, will be computer literate (particularly with Excel) and be willing
to help with general office duties, including marketing the centre and preparing
end of year accounts. They will be self reliant, energetic and able to prioritise
